Lorelei Smith
Lorelei is an emerging artist who began her career at the age of 14 when she completed her first pet portrait commission, thanks to her high school biology teacher. Feeling inspired, Lorelei established her own small business as an independent artist, further fueling her passion for art. Her preferred medium is colored pencils, but she enjoys trying out new mediums and techniques in order to continually develop and improve her skills.
Lorelei, at only 15 years old, has already won numerous awards, exhibited her artwork in several galleries across Texas, and had her art published in art books and magazines.
For Lorelei, art is more than just putting pencil to paper or brush to canvas. She’s passionate about the stories her art can tell, the emotions it can evoke, and the conversations it can start. She wants to create art that matters and make a positive impact on the world. Through her work, she strives to create pieces that not only showcase technical skill but also carry meaningful messages that inspire and provoke thought in viewers.
